Ambient - Virtual Reality Activation
A virtual reality environment will be set up in malls around Ontario to launch the Care of Cottage Country campaign. Participants will sit in a gently rocking canoe, attached to a motorized base, and wear virtual reality headsets, equipped with visual and audio. They will view the harvesting process as they “float by” on a canoe.
The journey will be educational so the target can see where and how the cranberry sauce’s ingredients are actually sourced. However, it will also be fun and tongue-in-cheek to match the tone of the campaign. For example, they audience will experience black bears trying to eat the cranberries of the vines before harvesting.
Participants will then take pictures in the canoe and using social media (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) post the photo with the hashtag #careofcottagecountry and tag @wildlydelicious to be entered in a draw to win a week getaway to a luxe cottage in Bala. They will also get to experience the real cranberry harvest. Brand ambassadors will provide taste samples and information about the product.
Yellow Tail (SPEC)
The Yellow Tail Wine Truck brings the taste of Yellow Tail's delectable wines and bubbles to Torontonians. The truck travels to licensed events around the city, such as the Canadian National Exhibition and the Toronto Food Truck Festival.
Customers have the chance to fill out "The Perfect Wine for The Perfect Moment Quiz" via tablets in front of the truck or by downloading the Yellow Tail app to their own device. The quiz determines which bottle of wine or bubbly they should dash out and get for their next special occasion. In addition, brand ambassadors will be handing out merchandise while providing information about the brand.
